That was The Speech that developed conservatism in this Nation.

It certainly outlined the principles I believe conservatives should hold, including the idea that neither the right nor left has a monopoly on rights. While I believe the right is always much closer to the "up" to which Reagan referred, this speech is a good reminder that conservatives muct remain vigilant against statism regardless of what party's in power.
