No, I'm a Celt. I originally contracted "rightwing" to "rytwyng", not to sound "Norse", but to make it short enough to fit on a personalized license plate! I later concluded that it worked better as a screenname.

FYI, I don't buy the Norse mythos at all. I have to admit, some of their rituals sound interesting, but not enough to walk away from Christ (nothing is.)

The birth announcement appeared to be just that, an announcement(I posted it here), but in articles on the "couple", there is mention of them writing "Deaf!" in the child's baby book and PBS and the Washington Post have not condemmed their actions (they've done this twice so far now).

The notion that the homosexual subculture or deaf subculture aren't encompassing enough to embrace these women and her kids shows our splintered society.

What's next, a website/support group for Lesbian Mothers Raising Deaf Boy Children Deliberately Conceived Deaf? Sounds like they've been watching Jerry Springer and Ricki Lake a bit too much.

Oftentimes deafness is associated with other congenital disorders. I wonder how happy these two would be with a deaf cyclops child, etc. (wide variety of possibilities)

This is cruel. Extremely cruel. It is a form of child abuse. Not only that, but for the most selfish of reasons these two pieces of slime created a handicapped child ( make that two ) on purpose.

At the very least, they belong in jail.
