POLITICS: The Art of Compromise RELIGION: The Rejection of Compromise. Could this be the definition of the impass in the current War? Religion certainly seems to be the 'third rail' with the talking heads on my TV. Also, as usual the libs are just confussed.

So how do we force Liberalism to be recognized as the false religion it is? Liberals will refuse to acknowledge that liberalism is a religion, in part because (1) the leaders know its tenets to be false, and (2) they want it to be the exclusive national religion of the U.S., so they want all the 'separation of church and state' laws to apply to all religions except theirs.

I'd be interested in seeing an objective definition of religion first. Same argument for calling "secular humanism" a religion. Sorry, but I belong to one, and those aren't religions...

Good point Doug, (The Kurtz essay was a good find too).
One of the characteristics of a religion is the acceptance of the tennents on faith, without any proof of correctness. It seems to me that liberal socialism falls into this description as we see that from observing history that liberialism causes the death and destruction of individuals, societies, cultures and nations. Thus while we have proof liberialism is not sustainable, we have no proof that it is. Ergo, liberals must accept liberalism on FAITH, (not evidence) that it works; it is a religion. (No offense intended to any religeous persons)

Liberalism is Satanism, tolerance of all sin.
That's why there's a war in Washington.
The rightous right vs, the Lucifer left. Unfortunatly, with Satan himself in charge during the last administration, we have a long hard war to fight to save the nation from the same fate as the cities of Babble and Babylon. The Satanic docturine is being burnt into the hearts of Americas children.

Why waste time about the definition of religion, when it comes to this question of separation of church and state.
We "originalist" should concentrate on the second part of the First Amendment, concerning religion and the state:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;"
