A jury began deliberating bribery and corruption charges against Ohio Rep. James Traficant on April 8, 2002 following a rancorous nine-week trial in which the nine-term U.S. congressman repeatedly accused the government of conducting a baseless vendetta against him. I thought this might be fun until I looked at the look on his face. I almost feel sorry for the old coot.

Can he get that hair into prison if he earns enough Good Time Points?

I predict that the verdict hangs on the hair situation among the male jurors (and perhaps also on the fervor of male hair fetish among the females.)

Somebody post that pic of Trafficant where his hair has a small animal on top :-)
I predict a hung jury... heck I'd vote to aquit just to pay him back for all the entertainment you would get as a member of his jury....He's sort of a cross betwixt a mafia Don and Don Rickles...

I do too. I refrain from making comments.
Traficant stood up many a time for us regular citizens in his very dramatic and forthright one minute speeches to Mr. Speaker!
My hopes are that there is a Scotty around to "beam him up" and release him from this judge's apparent bias and prejudice against him.

I know what you mean. I'm not sure what I want to happen. If he was crooked, I say throw the book at him. But the sad thing is, other politicians are a lot worse than him and the feds just look the other way. He's guilty of not playing ball with either party; therefore, he's a target since he has no "protection". If he does get off the hook, it will be a lot of fun watching him on Hannity and Communist. So the entertainment value in me wants him to get off.

It's alive Uhm, kinda looks like it was at one time, while it was serving as a cover for a horse's rear end.

On FOX, they showed several clips of Trafficant at different times. He was wearing the small-mammal rug on farther back on his head in one of them. A bit of a tip off (as if anyone needed one) since hair does not ordinarily change its position on one's head from day to day.
