Heard anything new about the Google distributed computing project? It functions similiar to the SETI project but does medical research instead of looking for space aliens. Saw a news article on it a month ago but don't see anything at their site.

That sounds exactly like what the article said google is doing. "Selected" google users got a special google toolbar. Bet it is a joint venture with the outfit you mention.
