It's long - but I think one should read it - visit the site - leave your opinion - tell your friends - and civil protest these folks - make a big stink especially if you are religious, patriotic, anti communist, and hate the song Kumbaya!God bless America!

What a bunch of commie creeps. Their web page does not say which churches belong to Seattle Council...are they a branch of National Council of Churches? I believe that's the name of organization run by Joan Brown Campbell who was instrumental in kidnapping Elian for Castro.

Bienvenidos!

Dr. Biscet, who uncovered Cuba's gruesome practice of putting newborn babies in Ziploc bags and letting them suffocate to death, without the parents' knowledge, being led away to the Cuban gulag.

Too many churches contribute their members money to the National Council of Churches. This has never been anything other than a communist front organization. Over thirty years ago I belonged to a large church of one of the major religions. I told them that I didn't want to contribute any money to the NC of C. They assured me that they didn't give them any money. When I challenged them on their next budget showing their contribution to the NC of C they told me that they "had" to contribute. I told them that I didn't have to and haven't heard from them since. No, I did hear from them for a while when they complained that I wasn't sending them any more money.

The Peace & Justice Alliance--"Our Mission Through grassroots organizing, to empower individuals to promote the reversal of the nuclear arms race, the achievement of disarmament, a peacetime economy, and foreign and domestic policies of justice and openness.".....Source The Church Council of Greater Seattle

Social justice and environmental justice....it's all tied up together. Environmentalists are communists wrapped up in a different cloak.

"Social Development and World Peace"--United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Environmental Justice Program We urge policy makers and public officials to focus more directly on the ethical dimensions of environmental policy and on its relation to development, to seek the common good, and to resist short-term pressures in order to meet our long-term responsibility to future generations. . . . We need to use our voices and votes to shape a nation more committed to the universal common good and an ethic of environmental solidarity. "Renewing the Earth" U.S. Catholic Bishops (1992)

We remind parents that they are the first and principal teachers of children. . . . It is at home that they develop the habits of self-control, concern, and care that lie at the heart of environmental morality. . . . We ask business leaders and representatives of workers to make the protection of our common environment a central concern in their activities and to collaborate for the common good and the protection of the earth. "Renewing the Earth" U.S. Catholic Bishops (1992)

The SCC has been far left for years. I remember back in the 80s they issued a position paper proposing that non-citizens, i.e., citizens of other countries, be allowed to vote in U.S. elections because of "the terrible impact U.S. policies have on the rest of the world."

I almost lost my pancake breakfast. IMHO, this is tantamount to treason.

Your profile sounds like Myles Kantor. Are you familiar with him?

The exploitative sales of Cuban art by the Center for Cuban Studies have made its boss, Sandy Levinson, rich.

During the Elian affair Levinson made the rounds of TV shows pushing for Elian to be turned over to Castro at once.
