Attempted Sexual Assault:DEA agent to face 34 sex charges(18 kids)

Incidents involve as many as 18 children, according to police

Fingerprints and handwriting samples link a federal drug agent to numerous attempted sex assaults on children, a Clark County prosecutor said Monday.

Chief Deputy District Attorney Dan Bowman also said that prosecutors have approved the filing of 34 felony counts against suspended Drug Enforcement Administration agent Steven Kinney.

He said a Metropolitan Police Department investigation indicates that Kinney, 42, is the man who approached children in the Las Vegas Valley, throwing rocks at them with attached notes requesting sexual acts for money.

"He would throw notes at kids saying, for example, `you are hot,' " Bowman said. The notes offered as much as $50 for sexual contact.

Bowman said police contend that an analysis of fingerprints and handwriting ties Kinney to the incidents, which involve as many as 18 children. Police have said children shopping in department stores reported that a man threw the rocks at their feet in at least three incidents.

Most of the children were between the ages of 9 and 14.

"In some cases, the notes would say meet me at the (nearby) Coke machines," Bowman said. "In some of the incidents, the kids, out of curiosity, would go to the Coke machines, and he would be there."

So far, no youths have reported actually engaging in sexual contact with the individual who tossed them the note-adorned rocks.

Kinney has reportedly hired prominent Las Vegas attorney David Chesnoff. Chesnoff's office did not respond to a voice mail message left Monday seeking comment.

Of the 34 charges to be filed against Kinney, Bowman said half are attempted sexual assault of a victim under 14. The other half consist of attempted sexual seduction of youths under the age of consent.

Bowman said the case was reported to authorities by Kinney's wife, whom Bowman also identified as a DEA agent.

"She was concerned he might be molesting her own children from a prior marriage," Bowman said. "We are now convinced that is not the case."

Bowman said authorities also became aware of the allegations against Kinney through parents reporting the rock-throwing incidents to police and school principals.

Kinney, who is on leave from the DEA, faces tentative arraignment Friday in Las Vegas Justice Court.

Bowman said a police investigation continues. Federal authorities are investigating, but it was unclear whether federal charges are pending.

The creeps in government and law enforcement protect each other. This DEA slime should be locked up for life. With bikers.

If only DEA agents were allowed to marry, this sort of thing wouldn't happen.

The notes offered as much as $50 for sexual contact.

Wrong decade. Kids think $50 is cheap change these days.

I can just about guaran-damn-tee you that this is politically correct doublespeak for the following:
Incidents involve as many as 18 boys, according to police
numerous attempted sex assaults on boys
Kinney, 42, is the man who approached boys in the Las Vegas Valley
an analysis of fingerprints and handwriting ties Kinney to the incidents, which involve as many as 18 boys
Police have said boys shopping in department stores reported
Most of the boys were between the ages of 9 and 14.
So far, no boys have reported actually engaging in sexual contact with the individual
half are attempted sexual assault of a boy under 14
attempted sexual seduction of boys under the age of consent
he might be molesting her own boys from a prior marriage

Otherwise they would have identified the sex of the children involved.

I read through it twice and was unable to determine the sex of any of the children he approached. I assume that means they were boys, since the rule of thumb is that the press only suppresses such information when they deem it to be politically incorrect.

What would you call this guy? A pederast with a rock-throwing fetish? Definitely unusual.

The editorial page of the Las Vegas Review Journal is, as I suspect you now, conservative and plays it straight. I don't know about the other side of the paper. There have been 9 or so cases of teachers in the Clark County, NV school district arrested for sex crimes. In all of them, the paper did give details of the nature of the crimes.

Maybe the RJ hire a liberal. It sure does seem germane what sex this guy was after.

DESENTIZATION

You'll be reading a lot about pediphillia. The liberals want it legal. It's the same route the homosexuals took.
Pray for the kids. This will soon be "normal."

< liberal> Pedophilia is an alternative lifestyle, that any diverse and tolerant community should embrace. Unlike, say, private gun ownership, which no one needs any more, now that we have the police and National Guard. < /liberal>

They are frantically trying to cover up what everyone knows. The problem is homosexuals.
