Good post. I have a significant philosophical difference of opinion with the environmental crowd. In my view, the good LORD knew what He was doing when He put coal and fossil fuel into the ground. He knew what He was doing when He put us here.

He knew what He was doing when He granted Man dominion over the earth.

I would also recommend reading "In a Dark Wood" (i'll have to go dig up the book for the author's name) about the spotted owl debacle in the northwest. Very eye-opening. Also a good discussion in about "Deep Ecology". It's bee a long time since I read the book, so can't go into any detail, but I think it's timely for me to read it again.
