Former Republican presidential candidate and activist Gary Bauer was harsher in his criticism: "I think the administration is going in exactly the wrong direction and runs the risk of insulting and alienating its Evangelical and Catholic supporters."

It appears Gary has had a change of heart since the presidential primary season when he stumped in Virginia with McCain; a man who harshly criticized and demonized "Evangelical and Catholic supporters" in every speech. I never could figure out why Bauer had hitched himself to that doomed message and candidate.

I understand what you're saying about Bauer. I still can't believe he sided with McCreep. Bauer was pro CFR too, though, so that didn't stand in his way.
