OK, I thought we'd seen all this before:
The INS had turned over to Judicial Watch the Sanchez-Roig teleconference e-mail two years ago - but without her note citing Meissner's order to destroy it.
I'm not surprised that they didn't get the actual Sanchez-Roig copy 2 years ago (the one with the handwriting, that is), since she was the one who presumably had it stashed outside the office. This copy came from a source other than the INS, didn't it, like Sanchez-Roig herself? Remains to be seen, I suppose, just how much of a smoking gun a hand-written note saying that someone's boss told them to destroy something. Tough to pin that on Meissner....
In any case, this memo of 2 years ago, of which we have been aware for approx that long, doesn't:
"produce proof that Juan MIguel Gonzalez was fully aware of Elisabet's trip to the US, that Juan Miguel wanted to leave Cuba as well, that the US government was fully aware that Juan Miguel Gonzalez was co-erced by Cuban agents,[much less] THAT HE ASKED FOR ASYLUM AT LEAST THREE TIMES WHILE HE WAS HERE, AND THAT EACH REQUEST WAS DENIED BY EX-AG, JANET RENO".

Nope, JW says the copy came from "INS lawyer Diana Alvarez".

#251....doesn't prove??????? Juan knew Elian & his Mom were making the try for freedom. Juan phoned the Gonzalez family in Miami and asked they help Elizabet & Elian if they made the journey safely. There is phone records to prove the call.
