This doesn't shock me ---when we saw how many of Castro's men "accompanied" Juan Miguel Gonzalez and how they never once allowed him to visit alone with his family who was caring for Elian ---which would certainly have been normal --- it was obvious there was a reason ---they knew he was going to ask for asylum and didn't want that out. They ---Castro, Reno and Castro's people were very careful not to allow him to talk to news, his family, or anyone. I remember how that nun even changed her mind after seeing some things.
