"With Arafat it will never be peace because he doesn’t want peace. He is now isolated, and look what he’s doing. So what do you think he was doing before he was isolated? The PLO is an empire of terror. They look into your eyes and lie."

...look into your eyes and lie. Who does that sound like? (hint: i42) Lots of good in this piece.

Sharon Says No Peace While Arafat Is Around...

There never is....as anyone familiar with Black September knows.

The means of their "war" or "struggle" in using young adults or children as suicide bombers is one of the most reprehensible, inhumane and obviously evil actions ever taken in human history by anything that represents a people or nation.

I don't know how or why this simple fact is lost on just about everyone.

Are the lives of young Palestinians that cheap, that insignificant?

We need to agree with Sharon on this, either overtly or tacitly.

And quick.

He won’t leave because he’s afraid."

Good. Very, very good. Problem with this is, he's SUCH a woosy, he sends children out to do his dirty work. Such a leader, eh?

JERUSALEM — Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon Wednesday intensified his criticism of Secretary of State Colin Powell's decision to meet with Yasser Arafat, saying there can be no peace with the Palestinian leader because he stands at the center of "an empire of terror."
There probably can't be peace with Sharon around either. The best thing that could happen would be for both of them to step down.

"Then I talked to Cheney and said, if the shelling from Hezbollah continues, Israel will have to take extremely severe action against Syria and Lebanon. Cheney called Bashar Assad on Tuesday and relayed the message...

Bashar should pay attention.

(about Syria)"I told Cheney exactly what we are going to do. The message was very clear."

And now he has told Syria VERY publicly and told the world. Syria will fall like a rock before the Israeli onslaught.

They have been warned.

"Arafat stands behind the terror in the world today. Israel will continue to act against terror. President Bush said one should not negotiate with terrorists. Well? Israel faces terror every day," said Sharon.

"Then I talked to Cheney and said, if the shelling from Hezbollah continues, Israel will have to take extremely severe action against Syria and Lebanon. Cheney called Bashar Assad on Tuesday and relayed the message, but so far I haven’t seen anything change. I told Cheney exactly what we are going to do. The message was very clear."

I am glad to see this. Israel apparently ihas finally had enough.

IMHO, Powell is an embarassment. The situation is clear. We either are serious when we tell folks to pick sides and fight the terrorists, or we are not. The Israelis have decided they are serious and we need to support them.

Sharon has signaled us that Israel is self-sufficient. Since Sharon thinks God is on Israel's side there is no need for the USA to be involved. It is time to withdraw all our aid, arms, and negotiators. Then Sharon can do his will on Arafat, Saddam, Syria or whoever and carry out what he thinks is God's plan without the USA being part of his tag team.

Perhaps the plan is for Sharon to roll into Syria, toppling Assad. That solves the problem of the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon, and with a friendly regime in Damascus, the stage is set to take out Saddam Hussein in Iraq. Israeli tanks could roll into Damascus in a couple of days - they were on the outskirts in the 1967 war.

A very reasonable response to the bizarre requests made on Israel of late by the US and the international community.

When Israel launches nuclear missiles at it's neighbors, and the Arab nations start asking the UN and Bush for protection, you will see prophecy fulfilled.

All nations will go against Israel.

The only problem here is we have many (so called)American-Arabs here who are very pro-araFART and would most likely commit Jihad(sp?) in our land for the sake of their peaceful(BS!) religion!! In other words we would be fighting a war in our very own backyard as well as a war in the arab countries.....SCARY SH**!!

I'D LOVE TO SEE ARAFART REPLACED POST HASTE.

And, if it's soon enough, perhaps the replacement would not be the AntiChrist.

But I have almost a chilling feeling that one or two or so iterations of such replacement from this round of conflict, and his unholiness may make his appearance. Wow, would that be a time marker!
