Well, if it truly is a no-win situation, then let Israel and the Arab world fight it out, and let us take care of our own business. I'm just wondering at what point do we throw up our hands and say, 'hey, we tried...'

If Sharon says they will not deal with Arafat, and Arafat will not condemn terror, then it is a stalemate. Let the toughest bully win.

I agree, I think. I don't know - the whole thing is such a mess.

OH NO, I just heard Powell said that Israel should give Arafat more space so he can communicate with other Palestinian leaders. SAY WHAT?

Just heard Netanyahu also and he said there is no policy dispute with the Bush administration, just a dispute over timing. Hmmmm.
