This problem is most amazing to me. Don't they teach you kids anything about geography any more. Muslims are supposed to face Mecca when praying, so as Jerusalem is North of Mecca, all muslims north of mecca (eg west bank of palestinians) would by necessity have to face mecca and away from Jerusalem.
