The RC's are spinning this as an attack on the church.

I'm not a Catholic, but I DO see the media's hyperventilating on this issue --and its comparative lack of hyperventilation over the much worse child abuse committed by Palestinian terrorists-- as an attack on the Catholic Church.

Don't get me wrong. I'd like as much as you to see guilty priests punished severely. AND to have all sodomite priests kicked out of the church.

But anti-Christian Marxists are using this as a stick to beat the Church only to advance their own agenda, which is, of course, to destroy not only the Church but all of Western culture.

A Church that allows this kind of behaviour is a bigger threat to our culture than the anti christian marxist bogeyman. Sounds like the spin klintoon used, it's just the vast anti religion marxist conspiracy to discredit our administration.

Is Barney Franks Catholic?

This is no different than Arafat, he doesn't want the land and the Rats aren't concerned about whatever sexual issues which exist. Arafat wants to eliminate Israel and the Rats want control of religion.

There have been rumors of child abuse by priests swirling around for years, and for years the media pretty much ignored it. Does that mean the media was pro-Catholic during that time? Hardly. Your argument seems to be that because one group has gotten away with something, it's unfair to go after anybody. That would be like saying because Clinton was never charged with rape, it is unfair to charge anyone with rape.

For everything there is a season, and that includes news stories. You can't focus on everything at the same time. This focus will eventually shift to another story. News stories are like dam breaks. There is a little trickle of water, then the dam breaks and there is a flood, and then it's over.
