The fact of the Bible scripture that he quotes in his letter really scares a lot of us...For the same reason that cockroaches scurry when the light is turned on.

What does "Lamda Legal" mean? I can't remember what "Lambda" stands for...

I don't think there's anything in the bible to the effect that homosexuality is a mental illness ...

Perhpas the judge should be fired for stupidity rather than bias ...

Because we pay his salary to sit on that bench, I think we deserve a little more respect than what he's giving us."
Drug dealers, murderers, robbers, rapists, and pedophiles also by proxy of public interest pay his salary. Guess they "deserve" more "respect" than he gives them too...

From what I understand the majority of male homosexuals , don't know about lesbians, have a history of being sexually abused as youngsters . I am sure this has lasting and deep mental ramifications.
So his statement about a mental institution while extreme has a legitimate basis. Psychological counseling and treatment would be a more apt suggestion.

Great judge as he states the truth. There is something wrong in the head of these perverts especially as they really hate the opposite sex to act like perverts. In more civilized times in the past, faggots were condemned to death. Now the filth accumulate like weeds in a liberal world, choking the good.

Let's see. If homosexuals are two percent of the population (probably not even that in Mississippi), than this judge should take a two percent cut in pay. Let's move on.

Wouldn't it be great to see the President nominate this guy to some federal court - and then force all of the cable networks to televise the Judiciary Committee hearings? Talk about "reality TV".

How refreshing!
"should be put in some type of mental institute" rather than be given the right to marry.
So true ... .All a Christian, as this Judge is, can do is warn them and suggest they get help. Whether us mere imperfect mortals agree or not with His Word, doesn't matter. If these folks continue on in their unnatrual behavior, they will go to hell along with others disobey and lack belief.
Imagine all those "Christians" who get divorced for reasons that are not legitimate according to God and those who live together ... . The point is it's not just homosexuals that will be condemed. Anyone is a candidate but homosexuality seems to especially disgust Him since He singles that out as an "abomination" and it is.
Okay, flame away at me because you don't like the message but that message is a paraphrase from the Bible, His Word. I'm just another sinner conveying His message. I'm no better than any other sinner.

Would it work the other way round? A judge says that gay partnetship ought to have the same respect as marriage, even though the law is still against it. Would that not also be prejudice?

What is scary, is the concept of sin, which implies a judgement, and reward or punishment. Liberals, whether they be good people, or evil, will not stand being judged, by God, or anybody else.

"should be put in some type of mental institute" Sweet. Need more sane, normal Judges in the Court System.

Because I believe the earth is round, the FlatEarthers would probably be unbelivably steamed should I ever be appointed a judge. My bias would be such that I would be completely incapable of rendering fair and impartial decisions.

So presumably a judge who has expressed the feeling that homosexuality is normal should also recuse himself?

"I've wrote letters throughout my life," explained the judge.I'll bet he wishes that he could unwrote that one.
