. The Vatican has asked that the Palestinians there be allowed to go to Gaza. WHAT! Let the kidnappers go free! I hope Sharon tells the Vatican to go pound sand, these boys need a firing squad not a get out of Jail free card.

Sounds like a fair and unbiased report.

The most senior of the wanted men who surrendered was Sheikh Ali Sfori, the "suicide bomber sender. The leaders are cowards. If they believe suicide is so glorious, why didn't they blow themselves up.

The Vatican yesterday asked Israel to promise not to kill the Palestinians holed up in the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem when they leave. The Vatican has asked that the Palestinians there be allowed to go to Gaza.Oh, this is brilliant--let them go & let them to go Gaza, where they can rejoin their terrorist buddies & have them plan more terrorist attacks. Sheesh, you'd think this came from the French.

Bill Buckley at NRO thinks this campaign is pointless. He may be right, but for the wrong reasons. The headquarters of Palestinian terror is in Damascus and Teheran, not in the camps. The scalpel of the IDF cannot reach deep enough to remove the cancer. The locus of the malignancy remains untouched, and it will metastize elsewhere.
A final Israeli victory is unattainable unless the United States wins the global fight against Islamic fundamentalism. If America wins, Arafat and company will be stragglers to be mopped up. If America fails, then Israel's doom is just a matter of time, the whole nation fated to become a latter-day Masada, its people watching the inexorable advance of the Islamic ramparts.

The 36 wanted men, who at first declared they would fight to the last bullet, surrendered at the end of lengthy negotiations and after they were promised they would not be hurt when they came out. The Palestinians claimed that the IDF threatened that if they did not turn themselves in, the buildings would be demolished on top of them.when these mohams run out of women, children, and hostages to hide behind, they surrender...they must figure that the koran is lying about those 72 virgins...

Television stations last night broadcast harsh testimony of the camp residents. "They swept up the shahids in bulldozers and dumped them into the sewage, so that the journalists would not see them" Shahid is same as Mujahideen. Fighters for Allah meaning the scum were in a firefight with the IDF.

"Only after the surrender did it become known that under the compound where the armed were holing up was a network of underground tunnels. It was by means of these tunnels that the armed men could move about the refugee camp and keep fighting the IDF." Hopefully the tunnels will all be demolished and/or filled with concrete.
Or maybe booby-trapped so that every single meter is death personified...

Too bad the IDF didn't make their own videos of 10 year old homicide bombers.

Dozens of women in Gaza who recently gave birth gave their children the name "Jenin", in solidarity with the besieged refugee camp. That will certainly make the INS' job a little easier in 15 or 20 years.
