Instead of putting a check in the mail today, Miss Quinlan and some of her fellow Northern California resisters will have a party and make contributions to charities from $10,000 earned as interest on their diverted tax endowment, which they call the People's Life Fund.

Wow. This will probably work. The slavery reparations tax credit is working.

Well OK...if the IRS isn't going after them, I'll donate my taxes to a good cause too. I can buy lifetime memberships in the NRA for a few people.

I guarantee that every last one of these scumbags walks into the polling place every election day and votes to have big government Democrats confiscate more and more of their neighbors' money.

Nearly 29 alternative funds across the country plan to use $100,000 in interest this year to make grants to shelters for battered women, homeless programs and AIDS prevention.

Uh huh....

Mr. Harper said the IRS took $1,200 from his bank account the first time he resisted in 1982 but has left him alone ever since.

WTF? I'm gonna have to try this.

Can we set up the "Terrorist Death Fund" and have our tax money go to bullets, Daisy Cutters and the like?

What are these Tax cheats who buy medical equipment going to do if we don't provide them with customers?

THese gorons need to figure out which side they are on.

E-X-C-U-S-S-S-E ME! But, this is against the law, and I wanna know how the hell they're getting away with this. They send letters to the IRS, and they're not prosecuted? That's B.S.
Does anyone remember what happened in Michigan a few short years ago? Shop workers got together and started claiming 50 or so dependents so that they had NO withholding, and guess what? The IRS came down on them immediately. It even resulted in a law change regarding claiming dependents.
Yet, these jerks not only don't pay, they don't file a 1040 AND they let the IRS know it. Someone is going to write her reps today, because if they can get away with this, then NO ONE SHOULD EVER HAVE TO PAY A DIME TO THE GOVERNMENT AGAIN!

So, who desides this collective purse should go to fund battered women shelters? Nice scam. I suppose they will prevent aids by distributing condoms to the Jr. High schools.

Finally, a pro-peace rally I can get behind. I wonder if there is a list of published names of those who are participating so that I can forward it to the treasury department and follow up on their tax evasion prosecution periodically?

Remeber lefties, there is no protest so noble as one which occurs from inside a prison. We'll all admire your um..... conviction.

I don't want to pay taxes either. Too many social programs going to liberals. I'm not a liberal. If they get away with the referations scam, and liberals don't have to pay taxes, that means no one should pay taxes. It's equal protection under the law.

Hope this starts a movement. Where will the left wing get their support checks then?

I wonder if Rush has heard about this. I can never get through to his program. The line is always busy. Taxpaying citizens need to hear this one!
