When I drove past the post office this morning, I noticed that the lines of cars already had started forming with those people who had waited until today to send their greetings to the IRS. Hmmmmmm.IT'S A SIGN!
And I can tell you (having forgotten it as 4/15 & needing to buy a roll of stamps today), that the lines inside for people wanting to have their missives to the IRS and Wisconsin Dept. of Revenue weighed & stamped were huge, out-the-door huge. And it's only morning.
Today's the day I feel sorry for postal workers everywhere.

Today's the day I feel sorry for postal workers everywhere. Today is their penance for all the times we waited in long lines out front, while they were in the backroom having coffee, and reading our magazines!!

I noticed something unusual the other day. I went to the post office to buy some stamps and saw a whole line of new signs in the parking lot, each saying "Reserved for Members of the Armed Forces." It's a small, neighborhood PO and there were 17 parking spaces reserved. Anybody else see anything like this?
