On another thread somebody pointed out that the protesters were the Iranian style of Muslims. Many were carrying Hezbollah flags.

The rank and file Persian doesn't give a damn I suppose since Bahrain is mostly Shiite but has a Sunni ruling family the Iranians could be involved.
