This case just keeps growing. The shame of it is six children and babies have died to bring it to light.

Tennessee officials still aren't sure how many day care programs Gibson has been connected with or the considerable amount of money she collected in government subsidies, said Paul Ladd, spokesman for the Tennessee Department of Human Services in Nashville. I bet this is not the only day care provider, with criminal connections, getting "considerable government subsidies" for watching other people's children. Pity the poor children who are being used.

What a sad case...and even sadder is the fact that this type of thing seems to be happening more & more. I count my blessings that I've never had to rely on strangers to care for my little ones.

Hello - hello - is anybody home?? I guess not - we just keep on sending Government checks and they keep on cashing them. Bureaucrats you gotta love 'em.
