I'm hoping this has not been posted earlier. If anyone here knows more about the author John Corry I could use the info, thank you.

The woman is a loose cannon. How in the heck did she get elected?

Covert Action in Africa: A Smoking Gun in Washington, D.C.

"While falsely pretending to be friends and allies of many African countries, so desperate for help and assistance, many western nations, and I'm ashamed to say most notably the "United States", have in reality betrayed those countries' thrusts and instead, have relentlessly pursued their own policies.".....(Cynthia McKinney)

This bit__ knows what she's doing. She's running interference for the Dems. Her constituency has never cared about facts; they're looking for a good line to throw in people's faces.

Her remarks remind me of Osama's secret gestures; they're significant of something. As to what that something might be...?

Then again maybe I give them too much credit.

BTW, is this the same Representative who was "dissed" by President Bush early in his administration, when he toured a military base in Georgia with several Senators, Representatives, etc. and didn't invite her (I think the base may even have been in the district of the non-invited Congressperson). If it was her, it's now perfectly clear why she wasn't invited (though I think poor Bush was pressured into apologizing for the "omission").

McKinney asked her collegues to close their eyes and "imagine themselves going faster and faster into a black unknown." Then, she said, they will see a "bright light," and hear "a huge booming voice coming from nowhere, and at the same time from everywhere."

We've all shared this experience....

when we were kids and went into the FUn HoUSe at an amusement park.

I guess she was traumatized by the experience and still has flashbacks to those days.

(When Kofi Annan, the U.N. secretary general, was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize a few months after she attended the U.N. conference, however, McKinney, ever the loose cannon, denounced the award as "an insult to the millions that died at the hand of the U.N. in recent years.")

As much as I hate to admit it, she got this one right. See Peace - UN style.
