This is the same idiot that said that "Japan has been a very good ally for the last 150 years."
Nobody said that GW was smart. Just that he wasn't Al Gore.

But the administration said future U.S. aid would be contingent on the PLO cracking down on terrorism as Bush has demanded. "We will be watching Palestinian compliance very closely," an official said. Just how many "last chances" are we going to give the PLO? When will enough be enough?
And why should my tax money go to fund acts of terrorism against an ally?

Over the weekend, Rep. Henry Hyde, chairman of the House International Relations Committee, said it would not be helpful for Bush to deny Palestinians the waiver at this time and, in effect, brand them terrorists. "I think, when we're trying to get people together to negotiate on the terms of a lasting cease-fire, as well as a comprehensive settlement, to be calling each other names, even if they're accurate names, is not psychologically helpful," Hyde, R-Ill., said on CNN on Sunday.
But they are terrorists. Doesn't this idiot realize that? It's time to call things by their real names. It's time to realize that you cannot negotiate with terrorists. It's time to stop paying for the suicide bombs that kill Israelis. It's time to exterminate the PLO.

One part is a little false, the part about the PLO being able to keep it's DC digs. As I read it, the thing doesn't talk about rent disputes. It just says they have the authority to maintain a place in Washington -- if they can find one and will pay the rent.

More Bush/Powell betrayal of Israel in deference to the PLO,EU,UN, Saudis, etc.
More insanity or evil?

Please consider the implications if the USA designates the PLO/PA as a terrorist organization.
At that point, the E.U., UN, many NGOs and several nations become terrorist supporting organizations under US law for their aid to the P.A.
That is a seriously bad place for the finances and operations within the U.S. of all and sundry.
We may do this eventually, but not just yet. The moment is not ripe.

"Well, this move's gonna be real popular." Second the motion.
Thanks for posting this, Phil.

No sharp objects allowed here.

I cannot believe he gives Israel away like that. Maybe Bush should look at videos of 9/11 and the reaction of the Palestinians versus the Israelis.
And remember the UN, who constantly critisized the US when attacking Afghanistan.
Or Saudi Arabia, who finance islamization and critisize the US all the time.
