I did some research on Planned Parenthood, and the results are quite interesting.

I was wondering exactly what a person had to do in order to "plan" to be a "parent." So, I did some google searches of the Planned Parenthood website.
The word "diapers" appears only twice:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site%3Awww.plannedparenthood.org+diapers
The word "crib" appears only once:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site%3Awww.plannedparenthood.org+crib
The word "vaccination" appears only 4 times, and in all 4 of those cases, the word was used in the context of getting a vaccination for protection against a sexually transmitted disease, and not for the kinds of vaccinations that are a regular part of childhood:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site%3Awww.plannedparenthood.org+vaccination
However, the word "abortion" appears a whopping 539 times:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site%3Awww.plannedparenthood.org+abortion
TOPICS: Miscellaneous
KEYWORDS: abortion; plannedparenthood

It's really planned non-parenthood.

I guess one could conclude that the successful delivery of a child is not in Planned Parenthood's play book?

I don't suppose you were very much surprised. Planned Parenthood is mostly concerned with teaching teenagers about promiscuous sex so they can sell them condoms and abortions. Similarly, Hillary's old charity, the Childrens Defense League, is mostly about killing babies so they won't grow up to be pests. Similarly, the organizations that call themselves pro-Choice vociferously oppose giving abortion patients any information that would allow them to make informed choices.
And so it goes.

Thanks for exposing the lie behind Planned Parenthood's name.

Nice find, this is one of those interesting little tidbits that should be circulated in an e-mail and to conservative organizations.

I have called it Unplanned Parenthood for years. I think South Park even called it that in an episode. If not that, it was very close.

When first found I was pregnant (out of wedlock), I went to Planned Parenthood to find out about adoption (I paid for the pregnancy test, etc., I was not destitute). The "counsellor/nurse" was not able to give me any information about adoption (she said she was out of the brochures), but she said she could talk to me about my other options. I said I wasn't interested in aborting my baby, and so our counselling session pretty much ended there, although she reassured me she would re-supply her adoption information. (This Planned Parenthood was in the heart of California's Silcon Valley.)
My daughter is 9 years old. She's a beautiful Christian girl, plays the violin and piano, is home schooled, could talk the hind leg off a mule, is one of the happiest people I know.

I believe a better words would be "Planned Baby Killings"

Just to satisfy my own curiosity can you do a search on "prenatal care" and see how many times that pops up?? I would like to know if the "abortion" hits outnumber "prenatal care"
When I think of planned parenthood, the action of planning to have a baby not the organization, prenatal care is the first thing that comes to mind. It would be interesting to see if perhaps prenatal care might be as big a priority with planned parenthood the organization.
while you are at it... do a search on "obstetrics"
