I haven't had a need for MS Office for years. I switched long, long ago to StarOffice, and more recently, OpenOffice.

For people who are absolutely tied to MS Office, though, this is a very good development.

I see it as breaking down another argument against Linux in the business workplace. They can still use the software required in Office, but use a less expensive OS.
