Note to self: L.A. Times is still full of self-hatred for their sorry white selves.

"The brothers and sisters are running that newspaper. Running it!"

Nelson Atkins, one of the attorneys who represented the city of Inglewood, said there was a lot of testimony from disgruntled  city employees that may have influenced the jury.

Oh my, heaven forbid that actual TESTIMONY could influence a jury!

Dang, we must all figure out ways to eliminate those pesky WITNESSES, and, for that matter, those old tired, out of date JURIES from the progressive modern liberal communist justice "system" in which the down trodden great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandsons and daughters of the wonderfully diverse, culturally rich and rewarding, highly successful African homelanders that saw fit to sell  there own neighbors and in some cases family members into slavery, can be dutifully rewarded with discriminatory advancement over members of an obviously unsuccessful descendants of western European areas so as to enable the superior abilities of the former mentioned individuals for the greater good of all the incapable later mentioned individuals by guiding them to greater heights of moral behavior in their every day lives by which.... bla   bla   bla  bla   bla   bla bla    bla   bla bla...

utter journalistic commie vomit....    plain and simple.

White Officer Wins Job Bias Suit.....Wins Reverse Discrimination Suit

Assuming we are stuck with this kind of obscene, institutionalized-racism law, shouldn't that headline read:

Police Officer Wins Job Bias Suit
Wins Discrimination Suit
?

"....a more diverse jury."

Webster's II dictionary says:
diverse adj. [ME divers, diverse < OFr. divers < Lat. diversus < p.part. of divertere, to divert],
could be read as "a more diverted jury", which is a more divided jury and a more divided jury is a more easily distracted jury.
Makes perfect sense.
"Diverted" means "1. To turn aside from a direction or course : DEFLECT. 2. To distract.".....

Not to be the fly in the ointment here, but if the guy was a non white, would you all be celebrating ?

I'm of chinese descent and when the japanese reparations came out, I thought, "this is not good" because I thought other repartions would follow. Although the interred suffered and lost their property, and reparations were limited to those actually interred and not their descendants, and the reparations were certainly deserved, I thought this still was a bad idea.

Although this guy is seems deserving, it may be the harbinger of bad things to come.

If you read "diverse" as "liberal", you get the true meaning.

Actually I just read diverse as "less whites". Which usually means the same thing.

What is this "Reverse Discrimination" rubbish?

Here's what I just wrote to ABC:

Since when is racism against white people "Reverse Discrimination"? "Racial discrimination" is "Racial discrimination." Period.

Unfortunately, in keeping with typical Left-wing tradition of ABC, your choice of headline for the report is a simple display of irony and obliviousness about your own contributions to it.

Although these outrages occur on an almost hourly basis at ABC, this one really does take the cake.

(BTW, should I have used "oblivion" instead of "obliviousness"? If so, I daresay it's too late, now, anyway...heh heh heh...)

You raise some good points. Although it certainly does "feel good" to see the racists get a taste of their own medicine, when we turn to the law to solve problems with how we relate to one another, it's just more ground we've surrendered to the lawyers. People are cheering because the racists have to live by the same laws as the rest of us...I don't think they're cheering that we've fallen so far that we are handling problems like this in court with settlements of half-a-million dollars. That sad fact makes the victory phyrric indeed.

Too bad the city couldn't import a jury from Cinnanati's Vine Street. I'm sure the Vine St. gang would have "found" for the city.

Maybe Cinncinati could export juries??
