Same thing happened to my parents while driving thru Lake Merritt in Oakland about 20 years ago - white motorists were being singled out by several dozen blacks, spitting, punching & kicking. Mom was pretty shook up afterwards & I was p*ssed beyond description as I washed the spit off their car. There wasn't so much as a footnote in the paper the next day.

Just one more instance where the law will not punish the people responsible simply because they were black.
