Nice TA! Is that a 72? I think it is from the hood graphics (it's 70 1/2 - 72, from the shape of the rear window...) I owned a 71 Formula 400! WOW! Handled great (it came w/ the TA handling package & Michelin Wide-X radials), but it seemed a bit weak on power, since that was the year that GM dropped the compression ratios... I fixed that with a set of Ram Air III heads that I found, as well as the "Fresh Air Kit," which let me open up my hood scoops and ducted air into the air cleaner... 0 - 60 in about 5 1/2 seconds! I really miss that car!

Only the Mustang GT and the Cobra versions are for guys. All the others models are pure chick cars.

"Steve McQueen is probably the only movie star to have driven race cars with the big boys in some of the major race circuits. He still does reasonably well."
I thought Steve McQueen died some years ago.

Thats the one I was trying to recall the name of a few months ago on another thread. A guy at an auto shop I worked at years ago (during high school) dropped a 426 Hemi in one and it was like a rocket. My old college roommate had a Charger (like the SuperBee) with the 318 and those are (IMO) the best motors they ever made. He sold it before college and bought a Dart with a 318. Deceptively fast. They sure don't make them like they used to, I don't care what they do to it.
