Nice TA! Is that a 72? I think it is from the hood graphics (it's 70 1/2 - 72, from the shape of the rear window...) I owned a 71 Formula 400! WOW! Handled great (it came w/ the TA handling package & Michelin Wide-X radials), but it seemed a bit weak on power, since that was the year that GM dropped the compression ratios... I fixed that with a set of Ram Air III heads that I found, as well as the "Fresh Air Kit," which let me open up my hood scoops and ducted air into the air cleaner... 0 - 60 in about 5 1/2 seconds! I really miss that car!

A few other finalists......

Chick cars....the AMC Pacer.....the "pregnant guppy" look appealed to the ladies..

Guy cars....the Plymouth Road Runner..an "el cheapo" GTO

Anything by Volkswagen is a chick car.

I guess you forgot about the VW GTI.

Only the Mustang GT and the Cobra versions are for guys. All the others models are pure chick cars.

Chick Cars = Any vehicle that's pink and has knobs.

Are you talking about the vehicle or the chick!

8-)

"Steve McQueen is probably the only movie star to have driven race cars with the big boys in some of the major race circuits. He still does reasonably well."

I thought Steve McQueen died some years ago.

BMW - Isetta: A great commuter car, but hard to "fool around" in the back seat!

Thats the one I was trying to recall the name of a few months ago on another thread. A guy at an auto shop I worked at years ago (during high school) dropped a 426 Hemi in one and it was like a rocket. My old college roommate had a Charger (like the SuperBee) with the 318 and those are (IMO) the best motors they ever made. He sold it before college and bought a Dart with a 318. Deceptively fast. They sure don't make them like they used to, I don't care what they do to it.
