It's one thing to check the ambulance, it's quite another to attack it and the medical personnel in it.
I know that the Pallies are using ambulances to smuggle fighters, homicide bombers, and weapons.
That's an unsubstantiated accusation which Israelis like to make to excuse their own gross terrorist violence against Palestinian ambulances and medical workers.
I have no obligation to the Red Crescent to allow free passage if I know that that Palestinian outfit has abused the privilege that it enjoys. Especially if I suspect that said ambulances will be used to smuggle weapons to terrorists with who my men are engaged in combat.
The Israelis who man those apartheid ghetto checkpoints aren't entitled to make blanket judgments about Palestinians.
Sorry, pal. Just because you say that the Palestinians didn't do such a thing, when the Israelis caught them red handed doing it, doesn't give the Palestinian Red Crescent lisensce to smuggle arms and terrorists from place to place. The PRC is an arm of Fatah, and they have done this for some time.
The Israelis have a right to defend their civilian population. If stopping ambulances contributes to that mission, then so be it.
Were you more outraged than you appear to be about the systematic murder of Israeli civilians, I might give your argument some credence. Since you aren't, I don't.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
