Nonetheless there have been promises given by the Lord to his saints. Wasn't it St. John Bosco who saw the vision of the Holy Father steering the Church as a boat in raging waters, steering it to safety between the twin pillars of the Holy Eucharist and the Blessed Virgin Mary?

While I'm not in favor of moving tabernacles to broom closets, the rest of your statement is hysterical hyperbole.
