Now that you said that, I guess that is Johnny Cash - I never would have guessed that if you had not said. I think he has been ill, but I have no idea why he is so red.

I wonder if it's because of having to take nitrates of some sort for circulation??? I know they make you really flush. I'm only guessing.

I didn't know that was Johnny Cash either - and don't know why his face is so red. I know an elderly man who was having several sking cancer lesions on his face treated by some kind of treatment that turned his face totally red also - as part of the effect of whatever they were doing to basically cleanse off his top layers of skin to get rid of the skin cancers. It worked too. Now his skin is as soft and smooth as a baby's skin! I hope that's all this is - and not something more serious. Either way, Johnny Cash looks very moved to be greeted this way by the President. What an honor for him and what a delight that our President has such eyes of respect and compassion for each of these people - especially Mr. Cash. Look even at Kirk Douglas gazing up at our President (and I used to think Kirk Douglas was pretty tall.....). But Kirk Douglas looks positively joyous to be able to shake this President's hand and receive this award from him. (Hey, you think some of that positive respect for this President could rub off on some of the Hollywierd eltists?....probably too much to hope for...but you never know).
