The last thing teacher union "leadership" wants to hear is the opinion of rank-and-file teachers. This sort of thing threatens their very reason for existence.

Democrats just can't stand it when Republicans campaign on issues that Democrats believe belong exclusively to them, like education and the environment.
It drives them nuts.

Of course these highly qualified teachers would support someone the Teacher's union is against. (Actually the union endorsed McBride in the governor's race. Which should be a clue for Janet Reno-- also running.)
It has long been my contention that the teacher's union is opposed by most good teachers. The union is for rank and file teachers and "brings the curve down" for the rest of the teachers. Not good for education and if its not good for education, it eventually hurts the very people the union pretends to protect.

Anything Jeb can do to pi$$ of ANY teachers union just increases my admiration for him.

I've heard their shills downplaying Jeb's achievements on AM radio, after which I went and read your "Jeb's voucher plan..." thread again. The amount of hope that Jeb has given low-income families seeking quality education is just heart-warming.

Love it. And now that it appears the Jews (at least those who love Israel) are starting to wake up the RATS are having conniption fits as Grandmother would have said.

These teachers don't care about the children or they would care about the truth and put the kids ahead of their personal politics. Enough's enough. Jeb has put his heart into trying to help Florida's corrupt union-run PC socialization centers. He did it by actually looking at schools that work. Imagine that. These feminazis, as Rush would say, should be ashamed. Good for the teachers who are finally seeing the light. I tried to send an e-mail to the FEA, but, like most left-wing know-it-all sites that deign to serve us little people, they make it near impossible to contact them with a suggestion or two. (Hi, summer! (^:)

I think Jeb looks a wee bit stressed in that picture but I think everything is going very well!

Change is in the air. Increasing numbers of Blacks, Jews and Gays are responding positively to the Conservative message. Among many more, the people we have to thank are folks like Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Shelby Steele, Ward Connerly, David Horowitz, Andrew Sullivan, etc. These individuals beat the drum of Conservatisim every day. Sounds as if a certain number of teachers may be moving our way as well.
Let's hope the trend continues. We need more Conservatives and we especially need to break the chains that loosely bind the uncomfortable mix of factions that make up today's democrat party.
