This is shocking. They probably all believe by holding hands and singing kumbaya Osama bin Laden and his monkeys will stop terrorizing the world! Idiots!

Government Believes There are 2.5 Million Semi-Auto’s Still in Civilian Hands. These are people who have CONFUSED ANONYMITY WITH FREEDOM

If you think anonymity is freedom, you’re only fooling yourself. You’re aware of whom you are. You’re the character that hunts, shoots targets or has a gun for self protection but won’t join a shooting club because you’re afraid you’ll be on a list. You have never bought a gun from a dealer because you don’t want to fill out that permit to purchase or have a Gun licence. You put a lot of energy into finding the right place to bury your guns. You’re the lady that would never admit that you keep a gun at your bedside when your husband is away.

You’re also the individual that thinks your gun, and life, is safe because if "they" don’t know about you and your gun they won’t be able to come and take it away.

You’re wrong! You’re confusing anonymity with freedom. You don’t have the freedom to use that gun. What are you going to do with the body of the burglar or rapist you just killed?

Use That Gun

Maybe you think you can just wave a gun around and the ‘HOUSE INVADER ' will head for the hills. If you do, you shouldn’t have that gun. You’re on your way to becoming a statistic. A gun is not a good luck charm. Its effectiveness as a deterrent to crime is directly proportional to your willingness to use it.

Choosing Anonymity Instead of Defiance

With anonymity you’ve taken on shame. You’re admitting that there is something wrong with you and the things in which you believe. You’re admitting that guns are evil, that individual responsibility should be shunned, and that you can’t be trusted to make your own decisions. You’re admitting that there are no-good reasons to own a gun and that guns should not be tolerated in a ‘civilized’ society. You really are admitting that the lives of your loved ones aren’t worth defending.

Trade Liberty for Security

You may say, "I don’t own an ‘ugly’ gun."  "I don’t own an ‘assault weapon’". You don’t own a ‘Saturday Night Special.’ Your firearm is not on the current danger list. Why should you risk your neck for those imbeciles who want to own AR-15s or AK-47s? Let them take those diabolical guns. Maybe if we sacrificed a few of those big, ugly, cheap guns, they’ll leave us alone. Maybe we can trade a little liberty for security.

Lots of Security in a Police State

There’s a lot of security in a police state. There’s a lot of security in being told what to do and how to do it. There’s "freedom" in freedom from decision and responsibility. There’s security in such "freedom". There’s security if you don’t challenge abusive authority. Imagine how secure and orderly our society would be if people were prevented from engaging in risky activities.

If It Saves One Life, Its Worth It.

Ban Car Racing. Certainly there would be less injuries and deaths and no one would die in car accidents if cars didn’t go more than five miles an hour and only ‘responsible’ people were allowed to drive. (such as you)

Ban Boating. Stop recreational fishing, water sports, except for the responsible few. (such as you)

Wouldn’t we all eat healthier if food was rationed? There would be no obesity without sugar, no alcoholism without alcohol. Our health care costs would be manageable. It would save lives, so as long as it does not inconvenience you, it would be worth it.

Security is Slavery

We would all be happier and more content if we were all on antidepressants. There would be a lot less stress if we didn’t have to make so many decisions and take on so many responsibilities. Imagine how much less crime there would be if we enforced a curfew. Imagine how much we could reduce pollution if all manners of individual transportation were banned and we were confined to a small area. It’s wasteful to allow everyone to go all over town, or travel for pleasure. Wouldn’t it be wonderful? All it takes is to do nothing – except exchange freedom for security or should we say, slavery.

Media Disinformation is Your Only Way of Receiving Information

As an anonymous gun owner you are powerless. You are afraid to call in on or write to your member of a parliament, write a letter to the editor, or stay informed about the issue because subscribing to a gun magazine might give you away. Media disinformation is your main source of information. You are the same person that thought that Howard’s Uninformed Gun Laws weren’t so bad, that it would be the end - not the beginning of more gun control, that the semiautomatic ban wouldn’t affect your handgun. Now you cannot express your opinion, influence your legislators, or ensure your freedoms.

Will you protest now or wait until they give you the death sentence for having an illegal firearm?

You have given up. You have taken the easy way out. In many ways you have ensured that the very thing you fear will happen. It could be said, "You don’t deserve freedom."

Now they are broadening the definition of possession, now you only have to have an interest in the item, it does not have to be on your property, or in your control and you're looking at a $250,000 fine and ten years of close confinement. Now that’s a loss of freedom in exchange for security. Will you protest now or wait until they give you the death sentence for having an illegal firearm?

You probably think it's too late to do anything, to save your rights to gun ownership. The politicians are corrupt. The media is biassed. The courts are corrupt and unjust. You just don’t want to be bothered. Let someone else do something about it; that’s what they’re paid for. Just let someone else do it. You don’t have the patience to fight with words, or the courage to risk your precious illusions of freedom.

Future Courage

You may think the day will come when you can dig up your guns and set things straight. What makes you think you will have the opportunity or the courage to do anything at that time when you don’t have the fortitude to do anything about it now when you still can?

Do you think it will be easier to go up against the government later, with arms, than now, with words and votes? You think people are brainwashed now? How do you think they’ll be in ten or twenty years? How much more will you have to lose then? What will your children think?

Anonymity is Not Freedom

If you are not willing to take a stand now, you never will have the courage to take a stand. You won’t have the chance, and you certainly won’t have the courage. Anonymity is not freedom. There is no power in remaining silent, only shame. It’s up to you. You can ensure that your worst nightmare will happen by hiding your head in the sand or you can ensure that it won’t happen by finding your courage. Choose now, while there is still time.
