Two things worth noting here. One, that obviously no operation is going to be untaken with any manner of secrecy. Two, I'm assuming this is a Pakistan newspaper(duh I'm sure) if that's the case I was expecting inflammatory reporting. I do no see that as they clearly point out that Pakistan will not let the US act alone.

Pakistan will not let the US act alone

As long as we have the right Pakis helping us we should never go alone. Like Afghanistan they know the areas better and will help us to continue winning this war on terrorism if they show us where to find the bad guys.
