The red-headed stepchildren of the Arab world, Lebanon and Palestine, contained a large number of Christians. I think this tended to reduce their favor in the Arab world. I have known some Palestinians and all of them were Orthodox Christian.

Interesting. Perhaps the fact that they are Christians is why they are living over here. I can't imagine life would be very easy for any Christian Palestinians in Palestine.
