President Bush headed to the left coast today with stops in New Mexico and California. Bush addressed a crowd at the University of New Mexico saying that he will work to pass federal mental health parity legislation to eliminate disparites in the coverage of mental health benefits. The President then headed to Los Angeles where he made several stops before attending a fund raiser this evening. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Doin great, thanks!

It's tennis season, and coming up on graduation, so we're running like maniacs around here! I'm just checking in quickly this morning, on my way to visit my dad on my sister's and my weekly visit to him. He lives in an assisted living home about 2 hours from here. It's a long trip every week, but we make his day!

I just heard that I'm part of the "sandwich generation"......sandwiched between caring for parents, and caring for kids........sometimes I feel like a slab of bologna! (Though here on the Dose, it's closer to ham!

Catch you later!

CCTeen is *your* son? egads...I'm dead meat.

Now where did you get that idea. Have you been tippling? No, I've never met him before, but he sounds like a terrific young man. Wondering if he'd like to become betrothed to my daughter. Then I can put her on the shelf until after college and prevent a few gray hairs.

I think Dan Quayle got a bad rap and is actually a pretty competent guy. Remember we didn't have FOX News back then and it was easy for the media to single someone out and pack attack him.

I've got to say that I saw Dan Quayle being interviewed for the first time in years just a couple of weeks ago. I was struck by 2 things, first, how well-spoken he is and not at all the idiot the media made me think he was years ago, and 2nd, by how much power the media really has to turn that intelligent man into a bumbler!

I also remembered for the first time that a friend of ours who is very much a liberal, had met Dan Quayle years ago at some political event and liked him very much! He had nothing but good to say about him. And at the time I thought he must be mistaken!

Dan Quayle was very badly maligned by the media/libs. A perfect example of character assassination.

Well actually, I *am* recovering from a concussion! Was in an accident 4/2 but recovering nicely. I even have the CTscan results to prove it, missy! And back up. I've pinged back up to back up my back up story. So there. :oP

Post #360 - Please tell me more about your door to door campaigning????? Do you go with someone, and what time of day are you going and do you have an overall "plan" or are you just going on your own??? Thanks in advance! And thank YOU for being an active door to door campaigner! That is what we all (who can) must do - that or other "plans". And everyone on the DOSE should go to their local board of elections, get some voter registration forms, and REGISTER as many people as possible who are not registered voters who you think would vote to help this country survive!!!! economically and militarily!!!! and morally!!!!

I see that you're the official keeper of "The Look" photos! Here are a few I've been saving too. You might want to add these to the official collection.

Sharon's almost getting the look. And that's Grayout Davis getting it in the last photo!
