Why bring this up now? The AW ban will quietly expire in less than 2 1/2 years. I don't like this at all.

As we all know, this "debate"/litigation is over the State's power to control through regulation. Citizens have only the rights the government says they have, not the rights of our Constitution which limits powers of the State. We live "under penalty of law" while politicians act as though they are not temporary.
Ah, the Black Rifle. Once you go black, you never go back.
BLOAT. Cache is king.

Bring it up now because the AWB will NOT "go quietly" in 2.5 years. Now is the time to start shredding it, rendering its renewal unviable. Without attacking it and showing how bad it is, too many congresscritters would just blindly sign on to its renewal. Writing letters will not change congressional minds (it DID pass in the first place, right?); having federal courts strike down major sections will practically leave nothing to renew.

The AW ban wil not be allowed to expire. Not now, not ever.
It will be kept alive by administrative fiat.

Why bring this up now? The AW ban will quietly expire in less than 2 1/2 years. LOL!! Are you insane? It will be even more vocal than the original bill being signed, because GW will re-sign it. Anyone who thinks he wont is out of their minds. The government NEVER gives back something they have stolen. No president will ever let this sunshine. The AW ban just gives them too much power.
