President Clinton, once dubbed the "first black president," "exploited" blacks, said an activist at a meeting of leaders gathered in Detroit for a fund-raiser for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

"He exploited black sentiment because he knew the rituals of black culture," said Michael Eric Dyson, a professor of religious studies at DePaul University in Chicago. "Bill Clinton exploited us like no president before him."

"He exploited black sentiment because he knew the rituals of black culture," said Michael Eric Dyson, a professor of religious studies at DePaul University in Chicago. "Bill Clinton exploited us like no president before him."

And the only reason why they're saying this now rather than when he was in office is because he can no longer do anything for them.

Don't feel bad, Mr. Dyson. Your race wasn't singled out. He did nothing for white people as well.

"Clinton displays almost every trope of blackness: single-parent household, born poor, working-class, saxophone-playing, McDonald's-and-junk-food-loving boy from Arkansas," Miss Morrison wrote.

Hmmmmmmmmmm.....where's the part about eating fried chcken and watermelon, and tap dancing?

10 years to late. FReepers and other conservatives have being pointing out his explotation of blacks for a long long time.

And Jackson didnt stay out of the 1992 presidential primaires because of Clinton. Clinton was given the chances of slim and none to win the nomination when he entered the race. And the 1992 primary was billed as "Whose going to lose to President Bush" when it started. At the beginning of the primary Bush's numbers were still very high and his reelection thought assured. Thats why such horrible people such as Clinton were running. None of the dems 'big guns' wanted to waste a presidential run on what, at the time, appeared to be a losing battle.

"Well, shame on so many African Americans for holding Bill Clinton up as some sort of hero."

Not exactly Quick-draw Mcgraw but the right conclusion.

I'm telling you folks that as soon as official blackdom discovers Illegal Immigration, we are going to have many strange and wonderful new Republicans.

What is most amazing about official, Clinton-butt-kissing blackdom, is that not a one of the silly bastards ever looked closely at Clinton's Arkansas record. The black vote propelled him into office and he returned the favor by doing almost shockingly little for his major constituency, from appointments on down.

These folks been had.

Like some columnist wrote last week (can't remember who at the moment): it was appropriate that Michael Jackson and Clinton be on the same stage because they both represent the greatest song and dance routine in the last 50 years.

"Bill Clinton exploited us like no president before him."

A p.s. epiphany. beautiful. Where was this man's observation when it would have mattered?? Why didn't he challenge mz. morrisette's pathetic laudings when she first belched them onto the scene? This may have actually mattered at one point in our 8 year struggle to survive clinton, now it's just one o.j. juror stating he believes o.j. did it. BFD

Duh, is right, but every little bit helps. Oh well, at least the grifting, perjuring, predating credibly accused rapist white trash preserved that black historical site in Arkan...., uh, oh, that's right. He had it torn down for his library because "no one was using it." Some will nonetheless never learn....

"He had more African Americans in his Cabinet at one time than the rest of the preceding presidents combined," Miss Scruggs-Leftwich said. "He launched the race initiative and made multiple trips to Africa."

America's Blacks sure sold themselves cheap. Two feel-good, but meaningless symbolic gestures was all it took. Blacks did economically better under Reagan than they did under Clinton.

Dr. Dyson is usually part of the rabble-rousing crowd that parrots Jesse Jackson, et. al.

This column is a dramatic departure for him. Not only that, I'm sure his comments will get swept under the rug by the national media and by the 'poverty pimps' since it insults their 'hero.'

Kudos to Dyson for voicing this opinion. It couldn't have been easy to speak out against Clinton in front of this group.

Two of Clinton's black friends didn't do so well. Ron Miller died under suspicious circumstances. Betty Currie's brother seems to have had a run of bad luck - CHILLING CURRIE COINCIDENCE?

"Policywise, he approved one of the worst-ever welfare reform policies."

Thus admitting what we have known but not dare utter from a white persons mouth- Blacks want that welfare handout. Welfare is #1 issue for blacks.

My apologies to the conservative poverty-pimp hating blacks I am proud to be associated with here on FR.

Yeah, Duh! 10 years too late, a few blacks finally wake up to the fact that Clinton was, is, and will always be, lying demagogic scum. Dan rather won't report this.
