California is going to lose big time regarding trying to restrict homeschooling. What's to stop parents from pulling out their kids from public school, lessening their tax bill, and starting their own private schools? Private schools are started by parents, students, and annoyed teachers.

Sorry Ladylib, but it doesn't work that way. Homeschoolers (so far) still have to pay for the public schools.
