Read this article again. It is a sneaky way to make you think the government is doing this. We have a plain statistic from the Dept. of Labor, that 2.3 million people are paid to watch pre-school children. THEN we have quotes by university liberals, a former Clintonista type, and assorted busybodies. NO WHERE does this say the the government is wanting to certify child care by relatives.
See how sneaky the press is? They are pushing an agenda and trying to make everyone think this is already the government position.
I dont read it as "this is the government position". I read it as "this is a problem that we NEED the government to fix." A 'building of support for...' type of article.
Agree. But I am reminded of that childhood song. "Liberals and Demos sitting in a tree p-l-o-t-i-n-g....first comes the "study" then comes the law then comes the money to finance it all!"
