Sounds like a great evening. I think Sharon has been doing a fabulous job also.

As for "planting the seeds of democracy", we did that in Japan, but it was possible only after utterly breaking their will to continue warring. We did not negotiate and leave the people susceptible to demagogues saying that they COULD have won that war, and so start it up again. That's how we dealt with Germany in WWI and it was a mistake. This war on Arab terrorism must be as brutal and final as our war on Japan. Then the "seeds of democracy" have a chance.

This was abundantly clear in his presentation. It must be utterly destroyed, and I know from his confident statements that he believes President Bush has the will to do just that.

An interesting point that rings true. Thanks. I'll not forget it, as promoting "Democracy" throughout the world is one of the most noble causes.
