Carville Fumes at White House Correspondence Dinner Joke
Top Clinton strategist and CNN "Crossfire" cohost James Carville appeared visibly angry Saturday night when comedian Drew Carey entertained the crowd at the annual White House Correspondence Dinner by poking fun at the Democrat's 2000 presidential election loss.
Comparing disgruntled Democrats to Arabs who remain unconvinced that Osama bin Laden was responsible for the 9-11 attacks, Carey told the crowd:
"You know, those Arabs out there, they're not gonna believe anything you do. They don't believe the other tapes we got of Osama bin Laden. They all say it's fake."
Then Carey added, "Isn't that annoying. You get these tapes, here's Osama and they go, 'No, you faked it. The United States faked it.' It's like trying to convince the Democrats they really lost the election."
As the crowd roared, C-Span cameras zeroed in on Washington power couple James Carville and Mary Matalin. While Matalin threw her head back in hearty laughter, a scowling Carville looked steamed and finally erupted with a verbal outburst that C-Span microphones did not pick up.
Carey seemed to take notice of Carville's reaction and began to rub it in:
"He won. They lost. That's what happened. There was no theft or rigging or none of that crap. He won! You lost!"
Undoubtedly the best thing that I've seen on TV in a loooong time was the expression on Carville's face as the current movers and shakers in Washington laughed at Carville's gang. Sweet.
And Drew Carey, ^5's, good job annoying and irritating hyper-extremist-partisan-liberals.
Oh, I loved that! ROTFL! How fitting.
By the way, I liked Mary Matalin's hairdo last night. Liked Laura Bush's blue dress and I like the peephole at the White House portion of the slide show. LOL

Serpenthead picture to follow...

(You were warned.)
This is a guy who wrote a book mocking and smearing Ken Starr and had a picture of himself on the back cover stepping on Starr's head. I am not a big fan of Carey, but it's about time someone socked it to Carville. From Amazon.com, here is the back cover of Carvile's book:
I think the one that really blew me away was when me and a co-worker went to the library during some off time on the road. She was doing some research on the Church and couldn't access the sites that were coming up on the search. I was having trouble getting on FR. We finally asked about it and the librarian told us that the filters prevented access to objectionable sites, and that political and religious sites could be considered objectionable. Now mind you, my friend had tried several key words in her searches, including Jesus, and was getting denial of access. The librarian finally said that there was one terminal in the library that didn't have a filter and that we could share it if we wanted to.
Now what was that about free speech again? Actually, I didn't test it to see if porn was accessible, but it would not surprise me if it were.
You really don't want to go tit for tat.
Is there any doubt in your mind why he is called serpent head? Actually, I think he is lower than a snake in the grass.
Is he coyote ugly?
Ol' Snakehead makes a coyote look attractive...
LOL! I also (unfortunately) share the same first name with Drew Barrymore. --she's kinda cute though!
