I saw Edwards with Tim Russert this morning. He's too slick. Not as good a liar as Clinton but slick none the less. Biggest anchor around his neck: he's a trial lawyer but does not refer to himself as a trial lawyer. Russert asked him straight out and Edwards made mentioned that he was proud that he's represented people in need. Pshaw! No gonads for this slick good looker. His M.O. is not to refer to the trial lawyer association until people have a chance to get to like him cause of his charm. Like I said, too too slick and we've had quite enough slickness, thank you very much.

That was a serious waste of bandwidth used to promote consideration of a nonstarter.

The South has foisted several worthless presidents off on this country. The liberal north saw fit to vote for them en masse, so I guess one could say those rednecks put the boots to those northern socialists in a big way.

Edwards reminds me of another power seeker, as was that peanut shucker, Jimmy Carter.

When the Dems polled themselves on who should be their candidate Edwards came in LAST with 1%, who was ahead of him? Al Sharptongue with 2%, John Edwards is a FRAUD perpetrated upon the Dem sheep by the Dem Party! Let drawling pretty boy go for it! I don't mind a bit if President Bush is President again!

I really had to laugh when Edwards was shown the poll results that showed him at 1%, below Al Sharpton, and he acted like he was pleased. LOL!

I see a lot of the same characteristics as Clinton in Edwards. He's slick, relatively unknown, and with burning ambition to be our "leader."

Having said that, I don't think America likes trial lawyers, and they're sure not going to pick one over George W Bush.

Someone more witty than myself said that Edward's reminded him of a Ken doll (Barbie's boyfriend). Just a little too good-looking and slick to be real.

I agree that Edward's a junior version of Clinton. As former Senator Kerry said, Clinton is an unusually good liar, unusually good. But Edward's not that good...yet.

As I have stated before in this forum, the Democrats are controlled by the ABA and the Republicans by the rest of the rich. The other 98% of us just struggle along.

Dick Nixon and the pervert were both recent presidents who were lawyers. We sure as H***l don't need another shyster in the Oval Office.

No one in the history of America has ever been elected President, or defeated for President, because of his choice of a Veep.

While there is no doubt in my mind that you are more politically knowledgeable than I am,I think you are wrong about this, wrong about Edwards, and wrong about Bubbette!.

First off, presidential candidates have always picked running mates for the precise reason that the VP could help the presidential candidate win the election. Lots of times they hated each other, like with JFK and LBJ.

To carry on with this theme,I am sticking with my prediction that Bubbette! WILL run in 2004,and she will pick Colon Powell for her running mate. Most people seem to have been fooled into believing that Powell is a "moderate Republican",and he would be seen as a stabilizing influence on Bubbette! He will bring her the votes she couldn't get any other way, including votes from a shocking number of brain-dead Republicans. The Bubbette!/Powell ticket can't be beaten by anything the Republicans can put up against them. Bubba-2 will probably pick Rudy Guiliani as his running mate in a effort to win the electoral college in NY and the rest of the NE,but I don't think even that will be good enough.

As for Edwards,I really ain't worried about him. He was on the ABC screaming face show today, and not only did he seem to stutter and be unsure of himself, but something seems to have happened to his "presidential hair". Instead of JFK,it looked like Glen Campbell. Glen Campbell can't get elected.

Nope,Bubbette! is letting Edwards,Goober,Lieberman, and the others run around now to draw all the early heat away from her,but she will step up to the plate at the last minute,as the front runners are suddenly hit with "surprise" scandals and have to step down.
