Fox still insisting that Italy will take "as many as four" of the "miltants," but wants other members of the EU to take the others -- so far, no offers, of course.
Fox also reporting that 26 gunmen will be taken to Gaza to be jailed under supervision of Americans and British, in addition to the 13 to remain in the church. All others in the church will be free to go, per Fox.

"I wonder how much this cost the U.S. taxpayers? " That was (exactly) my first thought.

Fox also reporting that 26 gunmen will be taken to Gaza to be jailed under supervision... I bet the gunmen will be under suicide watch......or is that homicide watch?
To: Tai_Chung
Fox woke up Whorealdo, who's reporting the "Italian deal not yet consummated." He also said the gunmen going to Gaza is a surprise, since many were speculating that Israel would strike Gaza after yesterday's bombing....

13 will be held in the church until they can be turned over to a PALESTINIAN court Does anyone want to guess what the charges would be?
Tresspassing into a Catholic church?
I doubt they will be charged with kidnapping and murder.
If they are convicted, will they lose their right to purchase suicide vests upon their release from prison?

MSNBC says info comes from a "reliable Palestinian source."I believe the term for this is "oxymoron."

Can't stand listening to CNN interview one of the "13" inside the Church. He says the Church is not Christian, it is Palestinian, and that he is a pharmacist, not a bombmaker. Says damage inside the Church was caused by Israelis, yada, yada, barf.
To: Dog
This whole thing has me so steamed I hope they do stay in the Church. The Vatican wanted them.......be a lot cheaper to keep them where they are.

The latest from Ha'aretz:
Partial solution found to standoff at Church of Nativity
By Anat Cygielman, Ha'aretz Correspondent, and agencies
Palestinian sources said Wednesday evening that a partial solution had been found to the 37-day standoff at the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem.
According to the source, 26 Palestinians inside the church be relocated to a jail in the Gaza Strip, 58 will be allowed to go home and the 13 on Israel's wanted list, who are to be exiled will remain inside the church until a country can be found to take them in.

Well thanks, that does help lower my blood pressure a bit.
Frankly, there are those inside who said they welcomed the Palestinians........let them remain with their friendly terrorists.
To: Dog
My guess is that we won't see anyone come out until prime time (about four hours from now EDT) -- which has been the preferred time for gunfire and fires at the Church all along. If so, at least Whorealdo will be losing a whole lot of sleep.

Frankly, there are those inside who said they welcomed the PalestiniansI might want to cut them some slack.
When the IDF goes they're at the mercy of the thugs.
