Finally, something we can be proud of Dubya about. This, cloning, and the ICC withdrawl.

Now let's just hope Bush can go the rest of the year without doing more stupid liberal sh!t than he's already done.

Personally, I believe that this was an attempt by the Justice Department to derail Emerson vs. The United States before it's heard by the Supreme Court.

Notice that the attorney for the US Government told the USSC 'Hey, no need to rush to judgement. Never mind that we changed our opinion. These aren't the droids you're looking for...'.

I'd rather hear the United State's Supreme Court's opinion on the Second Amendment rather than John Ashcroft's, thank you very much.

Yeah, that war on terrorism, green light for Israel, tax cut, non-compliance with Kyoto, cessation of funding for foreign abortions, and his fund-raising efforts for a future Republican Senate are worthless. ;-)

Think on this: even Reagan did not reverse this policy.

Don't forget he just removed us from the U.N. criminal court quagmire. Rush today was saying that a general could be brought before the court for digging too many fox holes, or damaging the environment more than is reasonably neccessary in battle. So this week Bush is two for two in the plus column with me.

I still can't bear to watch him on tv, afraid I might see him hug another terrorist, but this week he's done good.

Stop and think for a minute about what he has REALLY done, not what spin says he has done. He is doing his best to torpedo a case that would most likely serve as a basis for overturning ALL federal gun-control laws. Janet Ashcroft's "letter of intent" isn't binding in any way,and means less than nothing to any future AG who replaces him. On the other hand,a modern Supreme Court ruling that clearly states the federal government does NOT have a legal right to restrict the ownership or possession of arms by citizens would be grounds to overturn GCA-68,the Assault Weapons Ban,and every other federal gun law. The plain FACT is the federal government does NOT have the right to restrict ownership or possession of firearms by citizens in ANY way. Bubba Bush and Janet Ashcroft are working hard to try and make sure this never happens.

I agree - this and the ICC pull-out were both a huge relief to me. Contrary to what many Bush-lovers think, I am relieved when I can finally agree with this Administration. I wonder when they will reverse themeslves and these issues?

Let us not forget Tax Cuts and the death of Kyoto and the War on Terrorism and Missle Defense and.....Bush is not perfect, but he is damn good.

Yup !!

I'd like to add mine to that "Wish List" and get GW to counterman every E.O. that Herr Klinton signed to make an end-run around the United State's Congress. . .

Oh, well, one can hope. . .
