>Oh man, you have to read the essay. No such thing as death....

I don't have the energy for it, but somebody should create an index for this thing...

Wow. Global warming. Out-of-body experiences. Drugs.

This is a sad, gullible young guy who believed all the theosophy crap some new age guru/Castaneda type kook dished out, and actually tried to act on the crazy prattle rather than just talking about it with some equally Taos lover.

Again, we see left wing nonsense wrecking lives. And, sadly, the media doesn't even play up the nature of this kid's oddball beliefs... And someone should go give Shirley MacLaine a kick in the ass for good measure because not much of what this guy says is missing from her books, too...

I wonder where Mr. "Common Sense" here picked up up that weird cosmology? The pro-pot tirade at the end was a hoot, especially the part about how it increases mental activity.

This is a must-read. Turgid, but funny.

Well, didn't he know he's not supposed to actually act on that metaphysical nonsense? He's just supposed to buy more of their books and tapes.

I agree.

You talk of this place called heaven. Heaven resides within you. You control your own destiny. You are your own god! Earth is a place where free will resides.

This is all New Age pablum (take it from me, in my former life I used to live with people who used to write for the New Age Journal). Somebody needs to find out where he got these influences and they need to be exposed.

And who knows what this statement means:

See you all in 2011 (or sooner).

My New Age experience is from 30 years ago. Is there a cult that has a timetable now?
