President Bush called Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat's condemnation of terrorism an "incredibly positive sign" Wednesday. He urged Israel to consider the consequences of retaliating for the latest suicide bombing.

President Bush needs to just shut up and let the PM of Israel handle it. "Consider the consequences of retaliating?" Give me a *@&^$*@ break! Bomb them back to the stone ages. They must be shown they cannot simply walk into the stores and threaters and blow people up with no retaliation in return. An eye for an eye. Very simple. Very positive. Very plane. I cannot understand how Bush now says Israel cannot defend its self from this stuff yet we are doing exactly the same thing. Just unbelieveable. Totally.

A caller on Rush's show today listed the 11 things that Bush has flip-flopped on. They were:

1. Campaign Finance Reform

2. Utah Monuments

3. Education Bill

4. Farm Bill

5. Food stamps for immigrants

6. Unemployment benefits extension

7. Let Pickering bet Borked

8. Didn't campaign for Schundler

9. Abandoned Bush doctrine in middle east

10. Steel tariffs

11. Airport security bill

To that I add supported the RINO in California against the conservative Bill Simon; making pals with the communist Fat Teddy Kennedy; becoming a bigger liberal than most Blue Dog Democrat socialists; giving the socialist their agenda while abandoning a conservative agenda; not telling Colin Powell to shut up and support the team or get the hell off the team, a total lack of guts; failure to show guts on #1 above by failing to veto this unConstitutional law; and finally, by allowing Tom Dash-hole to become the pain in the butt he has become because Bush does not have a set big enough to call Dash-hole (who openly said about conservatives and republicans as "right wing") a socialist that he is.

So, some can flame me on for all you want. I voted for Bush and would again simply because of the alternative, but I have had it with his liberalism. I hate liberals, socialists and communist and cannot support someone who continues to do their agenda for them. It is destroying this country and our way of life.

Flame on

Well stated. Depressing as hell, but it needs to be said.

Also include what was probably the very first flop, and which has had an incredibly negative impact on the ME situation.

Bush promised that one of his first acts as President would be to move the American embassy to Jerusalem. Presto, Bush's first lie.

No flaming here, I'd vote for him again also despite the proposed amnesty for illegals. I wonder if he is doing all this because the country is so centrist and he wants a second term. I'd rather have W for a second term than the alternative. Unfortunately he's no Ronald Reagan.

Re your post No. 20 today. I also heard the caller to Rush list the eleven things Bush backed down on. Rush and the caller agreed on all eleven items.

In fairness, I'm trying to think of postive, Republican/Conservative stances Bush has taken and keep coming up blank, except for, maybe, getting rid of the Taliban in Afghanistan, not signing the ICC bill, supporting the Second Amendment and .......?

I'm beginning to believe that President Bush does not know what he wants to accomplish for America.
