Don't you have a few of these? I seem to remember a few from a discussion about classy women.

Here's a WWII pin-up for you-- the very lovely (and very Republican) Ernestine Jane Geraldine Russell (whom was given a bra engineered by billionaire Howard Hughes for
The Outlaw which caused pandemonium and a nine-year delay in the movie's release). Hubba Hubba!

Go to
www.pinup.ru for a bunch of pinup art, pretty good historical collection going back to the 20's and before. Also try
www.imagenetion.com for more pinup art. Note, some of the pics at these links are racy, so you've been warned. Personal real WWII pinup? Betty Grable, hands down.

No collection would be complete without this one of Rita Hayworth.

In going through my dad's stuff from the war years ago, he had some pics of Jo Stafford and Dinah Shore.....they're buried in the attic somewhere, now you'll make be spend half a day tomorrow looking for them....oh well, might as well clean the attic.....I'd don't recall either of them being big in the "pin-up" dept..but both of these were in swimsuits, .......
FWIW, the best "pin-ups" from WW II were the "nose art" that the crews used to paint on the bombers...wouldn't make it today..very un PC
