I wonder where the Israelis get all their restraint. I'd have shot them, either on their way in or after dragging them out.

I'd have found something to use as a bludgeon A water soaked sack filled with bars of soap!! The filthy arseholes would have fled before the first blow!

They should be arrested for treason.

This reminds me of what the 60's were....hippy, flower children, love everybody. They are nuts, they protected men that killed in cold blood and thought nothing of it. They are no better than the killers and should be charged.

"Survivor Bethlehem" -- check local listings.

The International Solidarity Movement said in a statement that the foreign activists were surrounded by priests Friday who "insulted them, pushed and shoved several of the internationals and locked all of them into one room.""Squeezed & pulled & hurt my neck." Dustin Hoffman

from the pictures I've seen on FOX, there was plenty of food, and lots of cooking going on too, but not much cleaning -- they showed a stove that is completely trashed -- even massive shots of Easy-Off oven cleaner and jumbo-size SOS scrubbers won't be able to tackle that mess -- also what looked like a marble baptismal fountain piled with dirty dishes and other trash of all types. I don't think I believe those heart-rending "grass-soup" stories any more.

Didn't I tell you that the monks were probably getting testy? LOL. I mean, there's a limit to what one can endure... By this point, and in many languages, the monks and priests were thinking, "GET THE HELL OUT OF OUR CHURCH!"

But priests said they didn't know anything about the claims, and one accused the activists of desecrating the holy site by smoking and drinking alcohol. My question is: What were they smoking. Goes to show that these weenies think of all their activities as a college party. How did the muslims they were holed-up with take to their drinking? Execution time.

Foreign activists...holed up inside the Church of the Nativity claimed they were pushed and shoved by clergy who locked them in a room That is the best thing
I have ever read.

This is even funnier:
Arraf said she agreed to leave Israel only after officials presented her with a note affirming she was not being deported and would be allowed to return to Israel.
Does this twit think she'll be let into Israel ever again, even with a note from the teacher? You bet the Mossad and Interpol (and a few other intel agencies) have some *very* fat files on Arraf and her fiance, Adam Shapiro, oh yeah.

"In addition to the four Americans, those arrested Friday include a British citizen, 2 Swedes, a Canadian, an Irish citizen and an activist from Denmark."So did I miss the meeting where "Briton", "Irishman" and "Dane" became politically incorrect terms? I suppose AP considers "Irishman" to be sexist, but what's wrong with the other two?

Boy what a bunch of losers these peacnicks are, pushed and locked up by a bunch of priests. I can just hear them now if the IDF had their way with them.

No, no, no. The funniest thing was Huwaida saying she broke her fast on airline food.

They should be arrested for treason.Arrested for something. There or here. Sure Israel and the USA have laws on the books which cover this. Sick of liberals getting away with stuff for which conservatives would be in the dock

"....One priest, who asked not to be identified, said the activists desecrated the holy site built over the traditional birthplace of Jesus by smoking and drinking. In addition to the four Americans, those arrested Friday include a British citizen, 2 Swedes, a Canadian, an Irish citizen and an activist from Denmark"
You know, there's a dark part of me that would REALLY like to find out these fools' names and affiliations and pass that info on to some group like the JDL...
To: Frances_Marion
The JDL is not a law-abiding organization. Terrorism from whatever source is condemnable. They have been linked to outright crimes. For instance, they plotted to bomb Darryl Isa's (R-CA) office. Whether you agree with Isa or not, he has done nothing remotely justifying such an act. If I'm not mistaken, Irv Rubin, head of the JDL, is in jail, unless he's made bail.

My ! What a wonderful statement these protestors made : almost on a par with that Great American Hero, Eric Held; who was trying to blow up mailboxes in a " smiley face " pattern !
