There's really nowhere left, except for Hillsdale and Grove City.

Once I'd thought that a technically oriented school would be secure against the leftist ravagements. I was wrong. A Northeastern engineering college is quite as likely to have this sort of infestation as a West Coast liberal arts school. I learned that two years ago when I sent my elder daughter to one, and they attempted to force her to undergo one of those three-hour closed-door nobody-leaves PC-brainwashing sessions they call "freshman sensitivity training." (I emphasize attempted. They didn't reckon on her cell phone, or my willingness to call the local police department and charge them with kidnapping. She got out after an uncomfortable half hour.)

Thomas Sowell's Choosing A College might be of assistance, if it's been kept up to date. The infection has spread so far and so fast that one should only go by the freshest information. When you hear that Notre Dame is inviting pro-abortion speakers to its campus, you know that you can no longer rely on collegiate affiliations or traditions.

There are several more choices to choose from than Hillsdale and GC. You may not get to brag to your neighbors about how your bright child was accepted at "________" College, but you can be certain of a real education.
